LCBO Oshawa – New Store

» Portfolio » Commercial & Retail

Client: Liquor Control Board of Ontario

Location: 400 Gibb Street, Oshawa, ON

Project Completed: 2007

Construction Cost: $1,300,000

This freestanding LCBO building type is the most popular of stores we have done. Usually set at the end of a strip plaza and often the main ‘anchor’ store for the complex. It was designed as a new 14,300 s.f. store with a large retail area, extensive “vintages” section, generous aisle and cashier areas to handle high traffic with non-slip, ceramic tile floors. The exterior is a typical stucco finished exterior with awnings and a cut-stone base in-keeping with the finishes for the remainder of the plaza.
