Even though the project consisted of a second floor office addition to the rear of the existing building, the challenge lay in providing a unifying and harmonious exterior façade – matching new with old. This was achieved with a continuation of the two stucco bands at the upper and lower level and wrapping them around the corner. Keeping the profile the same, mimicking the existing windows, and colour matching stucco created a simple but elegant design.
