Having outgrown their existing location just a few doors away, the owners bought this site with an existing 14,000 s.f. building and asked us to renovate and add a two storey addition to the rear with offices on the 2nd floor. Set back from the busy traffic along Kipling it was important to provide a comfortable covered drop-off to the main entrance, and create an identity on the street for patrons driving up. The design of large visitation rooms and cosy public gathering spaces with fireplaces, handsome interior and exterior finishes, has created an elegant funeral home that rivals the best funeral homes in Toronto.
